Next door to the Canal Tavern at 48 Frome Road you will find Lock InnCottage. Here you can hire bikes in all sizes so that the whole family can enjoythe towpath trail all year round. Bikes are also for sale and the fully stockedrepair shop sells everything from puncture kits to suspension forks.
If you prefer to be on the water you can hire a canoe and with the open topCanadian canoes you can take the family with you. Prices start at £5including life jackets.
The Canalside Cafe, Lockside Garden and Tight Squeeze Tearoom provide theperfect start to a day on the water with their Boatman's Breakfast. They alsooffer Picnic Hamper Lunches, Cream Teas and Fish and Chips.
Lock Inn Cottage also sells a range of canalware, painted with thetraditional brightly coloured rose and castle designs.
